Description
VG-760 is a digital vacuum gauge for accurate vacuum measurements during refrigerant filling. It features a professional vacuum sensor to accurately test the vacuum. Evacuating an HVAC and refrigeration system involves evacuating air and moisture from the system which, if mixed with refrigerants, can produce an acidic chemical reaction, causing long-term damage to the system. In general, the vacuum of a system should be less than 700 microns so that the humidity in the system can be effectively reduced. The best vacuum is 300 microns. Common refrigerants cannot meet this requirement. VG-760 is used to test leaks in the system and discern the quality of the vacuum pump.
