HI93721-01 Reagents for Colorimetric Measurement of Total Iron
HI93721-01 reagents are designed for fast and accurate colorimetric measurement of total iron in water samples.
Measurement method
These reagents follow an adaptation of USEPA Method 315B (phenanthroline method) and Standard Method 3500-Fe B.
Contain reducing and complexing agents that convert almost all forms of iron present in the sample to the ferrous state
When the reagent is added to a sample containing iron, the sample takes on an orange hue, the intensity of which increases with the concentration of iron.
The color is measured using a compatible photometer, showing the concentration in mg/L (ppm) of total iron.
Specifications
Measuring range: 0.00 to 5.00 mg/L (ppm) of total iron.
Type of analysis: Colorimetric, based on the intensity of the orange color generated.
Compatibility: For use with compatible Hanna photometers.
These reagents are ideal for water quality analysis applications, ensuring reliable and accurate results.
Presentation: Kit of 100 Tests
