Description
HI93700-01 are reagents for the colorimetric determination of ammonia in fresh water. There are enough reagents for 100 tests and are used with Hanna Instruments on the bench and compatible portable meters.
These high quality liquid reagents are manufactured in a state-of-the-art facility and are clearly marked with the lot number and expiration date for traceability on each bottle.
Pre-made reagents for ease of use
Prepared with high purity chemicals

HI93700-01 is a high quality reagent that comes pre-measured, allowing users to obtain fast and accurate colorimetric measurements.
These reagents follow the Nessler method, in which the reaction between ammonia and the reagents causes a yellow staining of the sample. By simply adding 4 drops from each bottle of the HI93700-01 reagent set to the sample, the reaction between the ammonia and the reagents will occur, causing the yellow staining in the sample.
The color intensity is determined by a compatible photometer, and the concentration will be displayed on the screen.
The results will be displayed in ppm (mg/L) of ammonia nitrogen (NH3-N), ammonia or ammonium, depending on the meter and configuration used.
These reagents are designed for use with samples having an expected range of 0.00 to 3.00 ppm ammonia nitrogen.
