If you need help saving energy and lowering the cost of your energy bill, the Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd generation may be the solution for you. Nest is the only thermostat that learns your energy usage habits and other factors. In addition, it is thinner and sleeker than the previous version, allowing you to seamlessly integrate it into your home or office décor. The wider, sharper display is high-definition and offers enhanced graphics and icons for an optimized all-round viewing experience. Nest records important things, like your schedule, how airy your home is, and your heating and cooling preferences. It then programs itself to adjust the temperature accordingly to help you save money.
It comes with a new Farsight feature to make the most of this new improved display. When Nest “senses” that you’re in the room, it activates. It then displays the schedule and temperature you’ve set prominently so you can see them from afar with ease. As you get closer to your thermostat, Nest shows you the main screen.
You can control your Nest thermostat while you’re away from home using your compatible mobile device. To keep track of your energy usage, you will receive a monthly report by email. Installation is simple, and Nest works with many heating and cooling systems.
Nest creates a custom schedule based on the temperature changes you commonly make, and it continuously adapts to the changes. It will self-schedule in about a week. As Nest learns, it turns on several power-saving features:
Automatic

The third generation of the most popular smart thermostat has arrived. NEST now integrates a screen with a higher resolution, 229 pixels per inch, which makes it look sharper.
However, the new screen is not the only novelty. The third generation of NEST also brings a new feature called Farsight. This will show the temperature or time when someone enters the room.
There will also be alerts to users through the iOS and Android apps when the thermostat detects problems with heating or air filters. It’s what they call Furnace Heads-Up.
