Description
Portable digital solar energy meter.
Measurement Solar Radiation Energy Insulation Tester
Features:
The TM-206 solar energy meter is ideal for measuring the solar radiation emitted by the sun from a nuclear fusion reaction that generates electromagnetic energy.
The spectrum of solar radiation is close to that of a black body with a temperature of about 5800 K. About half of the radiation is in the visible shortwave part of the electromagnetic spectrum. The other half is mostly in the near-infrared part, with some in the ultraviolet part of the spectrum.
The units of measurement are Watts per square meter or BTU, typical test and measurement applications are:
– Weather applications
– Agricultural applications
– Physics and optics laboratories
– Measurement of solar radiation.
– Solar transmission measurement
– Solar energy research
– Identify high-performance windows
– Useful for configuring photovoltaic solar panels at optimal angles of incidence
– Measurement of light intensity for car windows.
