Instructions:
Connect the radio, ATU antenna tuner, and antenna.
For the first use, set the output power of the radio or power amplifier to 20-30W, or high-power tuning can easily damage the antenna tuner.
Set the radio mode, use the frequency modulation mode.
Choose the antenna band to use, use 20-30W power in frequency modulation mode, press the PTT of the radio, look at the PWR and SWR of the ATU antenna tuner.
Using the ATU TUNE button: Short press (less than 1 second) the ATU button, it is in reset state, long press (more than 1 second) the ATU button is in the tune state.
If the SWR display of the ATU antenna tuner in the transmit state is> 2.0, means that the antenna is out of tune. 6. An antenna tuner is required. Press and hold the ATU button to tune in and observe the SWR value. If the SWR is greater than 3.0 after tuning, the antenna will go out of tune. In severe cases, it is not recommended to use more than 30W of power and the transmit power should be controlled below 30W; If tuning is complete, the SWR display is less than 2.0 and the maximum power of 100W can be used for transmission.
