Description
The DCM305E is primarily designed to test ground leakage currents, where differentials or RCDs jump continuously to unexpectedly. The measurement result will quickly identify if the current is excessive, causing the RCD to be disconnected, or if the RCD itself is defective. Ground leakage can result from various undetected faults in the system or from a faulty device.
Specially designed to test ground leakage currents, the DCM305E becomes an efficient and highly versatile instrument. In fact, it offers six measurement ranges, 6 mA, 60 mA, 600 mA, 6 A, 60 A, 100 A with a minimum resolution of 0.001 mA in the 6 mA range, so it allows measurements of AC TRMS currents up to 100 A.
Additionally, this clamp meter improves measurements in circuits with electrical harmonics/noises in cables using a 50 / 60 Hz low-pass filter.
The safety of users is what we always keep in mind, and the DCM305E exceeds the most recent safety standards according to IEC1010-2-32 and EMC requirements through a series of safety features that offer the user to work in a much safer environment.
Another key feature is “Data Retention” where there are times when measurements are made in spaces with poor accessibility or low light, as well as turning off when not in use to optimize the use of its battery.
