Measure concentrations in brix, salinity, refractive index, and clinical parameters with a full-scale accuracy of 0.1% using CCD scanner technology. Easy to use. All models are calibrated for distilled water and require a sample of only 0.4 ml. Instantly displays temperature in addition to multiple scales with the unit of measurement indicated on the large LCD screen. The sophisticated microprocessor provides automatic calibration, automatic temperature compensation, automatic shutdown (after 3 minutes) and min/max visual alarms. Low power consumption allows for 5000 readings, before the LCD screen indicates that the battery needs to be replaced. The water-resistant design protects the electronics from humid environments and makes cleaning easier. It comes ready to use with a 9V battery, distilled water, a transfer pipette, instructions, and a protective case.
