The HI83746 is a Photometer for Reducing Sugars in wine that combines precision and ease of use in an ergonomic and portable design. The user can accurately determine the concentration of reducing sugars in wine within a range of 0.00 to 50.0 g/L (ppt) using the reagents prepared to use HI83746-20.
The HI83746 is a photometer for the determination of reducing sugars in wine. Hanna’s photometers feature an advanced optical system, the combination of a special tungsten lamp, a narrowband interference filter, and a silicon photodetector ensures accurate photometric readings every time. The unique cuvette locking system ensures that the cuvette is inserted into the measuring cell always in the same position to maintain a uniform path length.
General Features
Built-in Timer – Display of the time remaining before taking a measurement. It ensures that all readings are taken at the appropriate reaction intervals for the test being performed.
Zero Key – A simple press of the zero key on the front of the meter will report color and imperfections in the wine sample before adding the reagent.
