Description
Tellurometer Tes 1605 earth resistance meter designed to measure the resistance of earth. Earthing, grounding1 or grounding is the connection of exposed conductive surfaces (metal cabinets) to some non-energized point; commonly it is the earth on which the construction rests, hence the name. The system of one or more electrodes that provide the ground connection is called “earth”. Earthing is used in electrical installations as a safety measure. Depending on the system, a fault may cause the supply to be disconnected by a residual current device (RCD) or an insulation monitoring device.
Range: 20/200/2000 ohms
Includes two javelins and cable set
“Auto hold” function to retain data
Power: 6 AA batteries
Includes carrying case
Standards: IEC 61010-1 / 61577

Tes 1605 Earth Resistance Tester
– Capable of measuring earth voltage.
-Data hold function.
-Auto-off function:
-The timer operates automatically for approximately 3 minutes when the “Test Button Switch” is pressed to maintain power.
-The 2mA measuring current allows earth resistance testing without earth leakage current breakers.
-In addition to the precision measurement setup, test leads for the simplified two-wire measurement system are also supplied as standard accessories.
-Automatic warning when the auxiliary ground tilt resistance is over tolerance.
-Designed to comply with IEC1010-1 safety standard.
-Zero ohm adjustment.
