Description

Digital Oscilloscopes:

Sampling Rate: Determines the number of dots per second that the oscilloscope can capture and render on screen.
Vertical Resolution: Defines how accurately the amplitude of the signal can be measured.
Memory and Storage Capacity: Allows waveforms to be captured and stored for later analysis.

ABOUT THE EQUIPMENT AND MODEL:

The OWON SDS1022 is a digital storage oscilloscope (DSO) manufactured by OWON Technology. It is a two-channel model with a bandwidth of 25 MHz, which means it can measure signals with frequencies up to 25 MHz.

Display: It features a 7-inch TFT-LCD color display with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. It provides a clear and detailed view of waveforms and measurements.

Sampling rate: The SDS1022 has a sampling rate of 100 MSa/s for a single channel and 50 MSa/s for two channels. This determines the number of samples the oscilloscope can take per second.

Log Length: It has a storage capacity of 6 Kpts, which means it can capture and store up to 6,000 waveform data points.

Vertical sensitivity: Vertical sensitivity refers to the scale at which the measured signal can be amplified or attenuated. The SDS1022 offers vertical sensitivity ranging from 2 mV/div to 10 V/div, allowing it to accommodate different levels of signal amplitude.

Time Base Range: The time base range determines the speed at which the signal is displayed on the oscilloscope. The SDS1022 has a base time range from 5 ns/div to 50 s/div, allowing signals with different frequencies and durations to be analyzed.

Additional Functions: In addition to the basic features mentioned above, the OWON SDS1022 can also offer additional functions such as waveform storage and retrieval, automatic measurements, advanced triggers, mathematical functions, USB interface for computer connectivity, and more.
