Description
A digital salinity meter is a device used to measure the concentration of salt in an aqueous solution. These meters are widely used in aquaculture, aquariums, laboratories, agriculture, and other applications where it is important to monitor the salinity of the water.
The digital salinity meter uses a salinity electrode or probe to perform the measurement. This probe contains sensors that detect the electrical conductivity of water, which is directly related to salt concentration. When the probe is immersed in the aqueous solution, the meter displays the salinity value on a digital display.
Most digital salinity meters allow calibration to ensure accurate measurements. This is achieved by using known salinity standard solutions and adjusting the meter accordingly.

Operation Steps
1. Remove the protective cap, connect the “salinity” electrode and the temperature electrode to the corresponding electrode socket.
2. Wash the electrodes in distilled water and dry them with filter paper.
3. With the switch turn on “ON-OFF”
4. Put the temperature electrode, the “salinity” electrode into liquid to be tested, shake lightly, wait until the digital is stable, read the final
value 5. Press “MODE” to choose salinity or temperature.
6. After use, wash the electrodes, put on the protective cap.
