ACCURACY

With simple 1-point EC/NaCl calibration and up to 3 pH points, 7 memorized standard pH buffer options, 6 memorized EC calibration solutions, and 2-point temperature calibration, the meter can be quickly calibrated with higher temperature accuracy compared to other meters and provides more accurate temperature compensation readings than a one-point calibration.

The MW180 MAX 5-in-1 bench meter is accurate to ± 1% of the reading for EC/TDS and NaCL.

It comes with a MA814DB/1 conductivity probe (4 rings), a lab-grade MA917B/1 pH electrode, and an MA831R temperature sensor, allowing the meter to automatically adjust the pH/ORP/EC/TDS/NaCl reading based on the effect of temperature (ATC). ).

CARE, USE, AND CLEANING
PH/EC/TDS meters usually begin to malfunction due to problems with sediment in the conductivity probe rings or buildup in the glass pH bulb.

Dirt on the EC probe rings or pH bulb can change the impedance. Cleaning the rings is simple. Slide the plastic protector off and wipe it with deionized water and a soft cloth to keep readings accurate. For pH, simply dip the pH electrode into a MA9016 cleaning solution.

CLEANING & STORAGE
All pH/ORP sensors have a limited shelf life and response time increases over time.

Proper maintenance of your pH/ORP electrode will give you fast and accurate results for longer. So, be sure to order the Milwaukee Maintenance Kit with code PH-Main at checkout. This will be necessary to help clean and condition the pH electrode before use!

STORAGE
When not in use, store the EC meter and probe in a safe area to prevent damage. The CE probe is stored dry. Store the pH probe in the MA9015 storage solution.

Only use short-term tap water if MA9015 is not immediately available and NEVER store it in distilled water (DI) or reverse osmosis (RO) water. This will damage the sensitivity of the tube.

CLEANING
Sample debris can affect the sensitivity of the sensing bulb and obstruct the junction. This is especially true if the sample has a lot of organic material. We recommend regularly soaking the electrode in the MA9016 cleaning solution for about 20 minutes.

CALIBRATION
The MW180 MAX is a simple 1-point EC/TDS/NaCl calibration for ease of use, up to 3-point pH calibration, and two-point temperature calibration for better accuracy in (ATC). It is best to calibrate it periodically to maintain the accuracy of your MI180 5-in-1 MAX bench meter in all its readings.
