Photometer for Tartaric Acid in Wine – HI83748
The HI83748 Tartaric Acid Photometer in Wine combines precision and ease of use in an ergonomic and portable design. The user can accurately determine the concentration of tartaric acid in the wine within a range of 0.0 to 5.0 g/L (ppt) using the prepared reagents HI83748-20.
The HI83748 is a photometer for the determination of tartaric acid in wine. Hanna’s photometers feature an advanced optical system. The combination of a special tungsten lamp, a narrowband interference filter and a silicon photodetector ensures accurate photometric readings every time. The unique cuvette locking system ensures that the cuvette is inserted into the measuring cell always in the same position to maintain a uniform path length.
General Features
Built-in Timer – Display of the time remaining before taking a measurement. It ensures that all readings are taken at the appropriate reaction intervals for the test being performed.
Zero Key – A simple press of the zero key on the front of the meter will report color and imperfections in the wine sample before adding the reagent.
Auto Off – Auto shut-off after 15 minutes of inactivity when the meter is in metering mode. Prevents wasted batteries in case the meter is accidentally left on.
Battery Status Indicator – Indicates the amount of battery life.
