The Hanna Instruments HI38061-100 replacement reagent kit for phosphate analysis is designed to perform approximately 100 tests using the colorimetric method with ascorbic acid.
This method involves a reaction between phosphate and the premeasured reagents, forming a phosphomolybdate complex which, when reduced, generates a blue color whose intensity is proportional to the concentration of phosphate in the sample.
