MKII DSE7320 Automatic Network Fault Control Module

Categories: Electric, Starter modules
  • Description

Description

The DSE7320 MKII is a powerful new generation automatic grid fault generator set control module (utility) with a highly sophisticated level of new features and functions, presented in the usual user-friendly DSE format. Suitable for a wide variety of single, diesel or gas generator set applications.

KEY FEATURES: KEY BENEFITS –
Configurable power mode: Choose to turn the module on in stop/manual/automatic mode.
-MPU Failure Delay: If an MPU fault is detected, the alarm may be delayed to allow transients in the signal.
-Improved GUI: Important design changes were added to V7 to make the GUI easier to understand.
-Drag and drop the advanced PLC editor: powerful PLC editor function as standard.
-MSC ID within PLC GenComm override: PLC logic can be created to change the MSC ID to avoid having to use DSE Configuration Suite on-site.
-CAN support the AVR DSEA108: Full communication with the DSEA108 via CAN. The DSEA108 information is displayed on the front display of the control module.
-Closed transition support with synchronization check: the load can be transferred from the generator to the power grid (utility) or from the power grid (utility) to the generator without an interruption in the power supply.
-Grid (utility) and generator circuit breaker alarms: Required to ensure that the closed transition function is functioning properly.
-Open Transition Support with Synchronization Verification: The phase angle between the generator and the mains voltages (utility) is verified to be synchronized prior to the open transition, limiting potential damage to rotating machinery.
– Supports 7 languages: English and 6 alternative languages can be stored in the control module.
-Crank Disconnect on Generator Voltage: Provides the ability to crank off on generator voltage.
-Oil Pressure Disconnect Delay: Delays crank disconnect at oil pressure to compensate for cold oil.
-Charging alternator deactivation functionality: the charging alternator holder can be disabled. This removes all related information from the front panel editor and SCADA.
-3 digital input functions added to enable ECU-specific operations: Provides additional flexibility by allowing users to activate additional engine functionality on compatible electronic motors.
-Supports escape mode: allows an engine to run when it has received a shutdown command related to efficiency limits.
-Configurable icon displays: The arrangement of icons on module screens can be configured to suit individual applications.
-Comprehensive monitoring of mains supply (utility) and automatic switching: A generator set controller and ATS in a compact housing.
-4-line backlit LCD text display: provides a clear and comprehensive indication of operation and parameters.
-Five-Key Menu Navigation: Provides convenient and flexible parameter navigation.
-Configurable inputs (8): Provides multiple installation options.
-Configurable analog/digital inputs (6): Offers flexibility for multiple installation options.
-Configurable Outputs (8): Provides multiple installation options.
-Power monitoring (kW h, kVAr, kv Ah, kV Ar h), reverse power protection, kW overload protection: provides clear and accurate power measurement information.
