Horizontal Digital Cold Water Flowmeter LXSG-20S DN20
The model LXSG-20S DN20 horizontal digital cold water flowmeter uses multi-jet measuring technology with dry register. This type of meter is widely used in residential and commercial applications to measure cold water flow in pipes of 20 mm nominal diameter (DN20).
Measuring technology
The principle of operation is based on the multi-jet method, where water enters the meter through several radially distributed jets. These jets impact on a paddle wheel (impeller), which rotates proportionally to the water flow.
The movement of the impeller is transmitted by a gear train to a recording mechanism, usually magnetic, which displays the volume of water that has passed through the meter.
