Good grounding is required for new buildings or structures that need to pass the required electrical codes.
Older buildings can lose a good and effective grounding over time. This can happen after lightning has struck a building or structure.
– Measure ground resistance (20/200/2000 ohm ranges)
– Measures the earth’s AC voltage at 200 VAC (40 to 500 Hz)
– Timed function test shuts down the output after a continuous test of 3 to 5 minutes
– 2 mA measurement current measures resistance without tripping circuit breakers
