Description
The Milwaukee T76 is an electrical conductivity meter designed to measure Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) in a solution. TDS refers to the total amount of dissolved solids in a solution, which includes minerals, salts, and other dissolved components. It is an important measure in water quality, as it can indicate the presence of impurities and contaminants.
It uses a four-ring conductivity probe to measure the electrical conductivity of a solution. Conductivity is converted to a TDS reading using a preset conversion factor. The T76 also includes an automatic temperature compensation feature, which means it will adjust the reading based on the temperature of the solution.
It is easy to use and provides accurate and reliable results. It has a large, clear LCD display that shows the TDS reading, as well as the solution temperature and battery status. It also has an automatic shut-off feature to conserve battery.
Overall, the Milwaukee T76 TDS meter is a valuable tool for anyone who needs to measure TDS in a solution, such as in drinking water, aquaculture, hydroponics, and water treatment applications.
Designed for aquariums, aquaculture, education, swimming pools, water conditioning and many other applications. The T76 helps ensure that the fish have the right balance of TDS to stay healthy. TDS also helps keep filters up-to-date and clean for water or pool filtration.

MAINTENANCE
TDS/PPM electrodes can develop a buildup of nutrients over time. To minimize buildup, always rinse the probe with running or deionized water after each use.
CONVERT TDS TO EC
The Milwaukee TDS Pen, like all TDS meters, provides a total dissolved solids (ppm) reading of contaminants per unit volume in one solution.
TDS/PPM is often converted to uS/cm. The different scales include the 500 scale, the 650 scale, and the 700 scale.
Your TDS/PPM readings can be converted to approximately uS/cm as shown in the examples below.
1 ppm = 2 uS/cm on the 0.5
factor scale 1 ppm = 1.43 μS/cm on the 442 scale or 0.70 factor scale
